A Return and Change to Post Human
Just a quick note — Post Human has been dormant for a long time now for a couple of reasons. The main one is that both Journey and I were greatly affected by COVID — not by the disease itself — luckily, we were never that sick — but the effect it had on us at our jobs was very stressful. We work in different fields, but both put us at risk everyday, and our jobs were at risk every day as well. I became depressed. I think Journey did too. This hurt us creatively, we both stopped creating. In addition, Journey tends to retreat from contact from others in times of stress. I simply have not been able to contact him for some time now. Calls just go unanswered, and he does not reach out to me either. This does not make him a bad person, this is not to denigrate him, this just is what it is.
I recently started writing again. It was difficult to do without Journey since he is really my first and most important reader.
I’m going to start posting my stories here.
But before I do that, I am going to post a short series on quitting social media and taking control of modern communication tools to so that they serve you rather than you serving them.
